This deal looks to be done as Almada’s current club has already announced his sale to Atlanta. Atlanta United released a statement saying that they have an exclusive option to permanently transfer in Almada. They likely have not yet announced it due to the fact that the club currently has three designated players. Although it is not confirmed, it seems like Ezequiel Barco will be heading to Europe. Almada has been one of the hottestSarsfield. prospects in Argentina recording 19 goals and 11 assists over the course of three and a half seasons at Velez Sarsfield. Almada was also a part of the Argentina u23 squad that participated in the Tokyo Olympics.

Will Bruin

Will Bruin is exactly the type of player that Atlanta United needs. He will not have a problem with serving a rotational role behind Josef Martinez. Bruin is currently a free agent and will not request massive wages. He will also provide some much-needed experience to a youthful squad. Current Atlanta manager Gonzalo Pineda was an assistant manager while Bruin was in Seattle. Pineda should not have very much trouble convincing Bruin to come to Atlanta. Bruin has scored 74 goals and provided 33 assists in 286 MLS appearances between the Seattle Sounders and Houston Dynamo.

Jukka Raitala

Jukka Raitala would be a good signing to sure up the backline of the Five Stripes. Raitala can play across the backline and provides experience as well as quality. The current Atlanta backline is extremely young and a veteran would definitely help stabilize Atlanta defensively. Raitala is another free agent that wouldn’t require extreme wages to sign. He has experience at three MLS clubs in Columbus Crew SC, CF Montreal, and Minnesota United. He has also spent the majority of his career playing in Europe and has played 64 times for the Finnish National Team.

Rocco Rios Novo

Many Atlanta United fans will already know who Rocco Rios Novo is due to his display in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions League tie with Alajuelense last season. He then proceed to be solid for Atlanta United 2 throughout their season. He has plenty of potential and is a player that could come good in the future.

Julio Cesar Enciso

Julio Enciso is one of the best young talents in Paraguay. Atlanta United has a history with Paraguian players such as Miguel Almiron, Hector Villaba, and Erik Lopez. Atlanta leaked depth on the wing last season and Enciso should be a handy player to have on the bench. Enciso scored eight goals and provided five assists in 39 games for Libertad.
