Well, that was a game for the ages. Atlanta United took the lead in the 6th minute, through Josef Martinez. However, after Atlanta scored Montreal began to control the game, which eventually resulted in a Djorde Mihailovic goal, in the 28th minute. 10 minutes later Lassi Lappalinen’s cross was met by Ismael Kone to make the score 2-1 for the visitors. Right before the half, Miles Robinson took down, Ismael Kone, in the box, and Romell Quioto scored from the penalty spot. The game seemed to be over when Dom Dwyer was sent off for a dangerous tackle, in the 67th minute. However, the Five Stripes did not give up and Thiago Almada scored his first MLS goal in the 85th minute. With the game almost over, Brooks Lennon fired a free-kick past Sebastian Breza to salvage a point for Atlanta.
