1. Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho is a young Argentinian attacker that plays for Manchester United. Garnacho only made 2 Premier League appearances in the 2021/22 season. However, the new manager, Erik Ten Hag is known for giving young players a chance with the first team. Garnacho scored 14 goals in 34 appearances, during the 2021/222 season. He also scored the winning goal in the FA Youth Cup Final. Given the departure of Edinson Cavani, I could see Garnacho break into the Manchester United first team, in the upcoming season.
2. Jayden Braff
Jayden Braff is a 19-year-old attacker who recently signed for Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund always gives chances to young players, so Jayden Braff could be on the verge of his breakout season. Braff scored one goal in four appearances during the 2021-22 season, Braff scored 1 goal in four appearances, while on loan at Udinese. While those are not great numbers, I believe that Dortmund will help him develop and fit into their style of play. I could see Braff getting regular first-team minutes by the end of the upcoming season.
3. Wilfried Gnoto
Italian attacker Wilfried Gnoto has impressed during his time at FC Zurich. Gnoto scored 10 goals and registered 5 assists in 36 appearances for the Swiss club. Gnoto recently made his national team debut, registering an assist in a 1-1 draw with Germany. Gnoto has also received interest from several top German and Italian clubs in recent days.
4. Youssoufa Moukoko
Yousssoufa Mukoko has been one of the most known wonderkids in the world for many years now. While with Dortmund’s youth teams’ Moukoko scored an insane amount of goals. During the 2021/22 season, Moukoko scored 3 goals and registered 2 assists in 18 appearances. Moukoko is only 17 and is on the verge of a breakout season. With the departure of Erling Haaland, Moukoko will get more first-team minutes and could end up having an outstanding season.
5. Joe Gelhardt
Joe Gelhardt is a 20-year-old striker who plays for Leeds United. Gelhardt scored 2 goals and registered 4 assists in 20 Premier League matches, during the 2021/22 campaign. Joe Gelhardt will likely be behind Patrick Bamford in the competition to be the starting striker for Leeds, but Gelhardt can provide a threat off the bench, and maybe help Leeds on a cup run.
