After a chaotic first round of the playoffs, the second round is set to start on Thursday night. Both matchups are sure to be tantalizing and will be filled with action.
Philadelphia Union vs FC Cincinatti

While this match might look like a straightforward win for the Union, it could prove to be a very difficult match for them. Fc Cincinnati is the only team that has gotten two results against the Union this year and will fancy their chances of pulling off yet another upset. Both sides have strong attacks and defenses, so the match will likely come down to the goalkeepers and the midfielders. I think that the Union should have enough to advance, but Cincinnati could definitely pose to be a challenge for the high-flying Union.
LAFC vs LA Galaxy

For the first time since 2019, there will be a playoff “El Trafico”. LAFC won the Supporters Shield, but fell off toward the second half of the season, and will need to get back to their best if they want to beat the Galaxy. The LA Galaxy started the year poorly, but have improved massively in recent months, and are definitely capable of upsetting LAFC. Both teams have plenty of superstars and depth within their rosters, so it is sure to be a great game on Thursday night.
