NYCFC vs Inter Miami

NYCFC took town Inter Miami 2-0 in what was probably Valentin “Taty” Castellanos’ last game for the club. Maxi Moralez opened the scoring in the 12th minute, from a tight angle. Castellanos waved farewell to the fans as he came off in the 61st minute. Heber put the hosts 2-0 when he scored from close range to secure the win for the champions.
Columbus Crew vs New England Revolution

The Columbus Crew and New England Revolution battled to a 0-0 draw at Lower.com Field. Columbus dominated the game and had the majority of the chances, but New England held on for a point. New England was the first to keep Cucho Hernandez off of the scoresheet.
FC Cincinnati vs Nashville SC

FC Cincinnati and Nashville SC drew 1-1 in a cross-conference matchup. Nashville and Columbus were without their talisman in Hany Mukhtar and Luciano Acosta. Nashville took the lead when teal Bunbury scored an acrobatic goal from close range. Cincinnati fought back and on-form striker Brandon Vazquez found the equalizer for the hosts.
Orlando City SC vs Philadelphia Union

The Philadelphia Union continued their attack to finish at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 1-0 win at Orlando City. Daniel Gazdag’s goal was initially ruled out, but after a VAR review, it was determined that he was onside and was given. Orlando had the majority of the possession, but couldn’t make it count and are now winless in their last three league games.
Toronto FC vs Charlotte FC

Toronto FC made a statement with a 4-0 win in the debut of Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi. Jonathan Osorio blocked Guzman Corujo’s clearance in the 4th minute, and the ball fortuitously looped into the back of the net to give Toronto the early lead. Michael Bradley soon put the hosts 2-0 with a glancing header, off of a corner. Federico Bernardeschi then capped his spectacular debut with a goal from a distance. Toronto scored their fourth goal through some great team play and a Michael Bradley brace. Christian Fuchs was sent off in the 65th minute, allowing the hosts to hold on for a comfortable win.
DC United vs CF Montreal

CF Montreal beat bottom of the Eastern Conference DC United 2-1, on Saturday night. Romell Quioto’s two goals were enough for the away side to get the win. Although Steven Birnbaum scored off a corner, DC lost their 3rd straight game and are now winless in 5.
Houston Dynamo vs Minnesota United

Minnesota United continued their winning streak after their historic 4-0 win over Everton. Franco Fragapane gave the Loons the lead during first-half stoppage time. Bongokuhle Hlongwane then put Minnesota 2-0 up. This was Hlongwane’s first goal for the club. Fafa Picault grabbed one back for Houston, but it was too little, too late for the Dynamo.
Sporting Kansas City vs LAFC

LAFC beat Sporting KC 2-0 on Saturday night. Kansas City goalkeeper Tim Melia was subbed out with an injury, in the 53rd minute. A couple of minutes later Cristian Arango fired the ball into the roof of the net to continue his goal-scoring streak. Gareth Bale then found the bottom corner to get his first goal for LAFC, and to secure the win for LAFC.
Real Salt Lake vs FC Dallas

FC Dallas got an extremely important road win over Real Salt Lake, on Saturday night. Jesus Ferreira put Dallas in the lead, and although the game was chippy Dallas held on for the win. There was a total of 9 yellow cards in the match.
Seattle Sounders vs Colorado Rapids

The Seattle Sounders defeated the Colorado Rapids in a come-from-behind 2-1 win. Jonathan Lewis gave the visitors the lead when he rounded the goalkeeper and got the ball over the line. Alex Roldan almost cleared the ball off the line, but was hald-a-second too late. Jordan Morris found the equalizer right before halftime, with a delicate chip over William Yarbrough. Kelyn Rowe was then given a second yellow after he foolishly threw the ball away. Seattle showed their fighting spirit and drew a penalty in the 71st minute, which Nicolas Lodeiro blasted into the net. Seattle is now only one point behind the playoff line, with a game in hand.
Vancouver Whitecaps vs Chicago Fire

The Chicago Fire continued their good form with a 3-1 win in Vancouver. Xherdan Shaqiri gave the visitors the lead with a curling shot into the bottom corner. Lucas Cavallini scored to level it up, but goals from Rafael Czichos and Chris Mueller earned the Fire their 3rd straight win.
Portland Timbers vs San Jose Earthquakes

The Portland Timber finally climbed into a playoff spot with a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. Benjamin Kikanovic scored a goal from close range to give San Jose the lead, right before halftime. Jaroslaw Niezgoda’s deflection off of Diego Chara’s strike was able to direct the ball past JT Marcinkowski and get the Timbers level. In the 71st minute, Dairon Asprilla’s looping header secured the win for the Timbers, who are now unbeaten in their last 7 matches.
